In 2005, Stieg Larsson revived the genre of Scandinavian crime stories, and since then, they have been bestsellers all over the world. We explore why and what makes them such fascinating reading. 
 
Nete, born in Denmark, and author of five books, teaches Danish language classes as well as various classes on Scandinavian Literature and Area Studies at UW-Madison.
